GAPA comprises a small steering group and a set of working groups addressing identified areas of need. Work will be accomplished by partnering with non government organisations, civil society and other interested groups and networks. Ad-hoc advisors will be engaged for specific meetings or work on tasks or programmes to support the steering and working groups and provide links to external activities.
Working Groups membership will comprise a wide range of organisations, including NGO, civil society, academic sector, research units and potentially the private sector.
Steering Group comprises a small number of core members providing oversight to the development of GAPA and coordination activities. It includes representation from IUHPE, CDC, and academic and research units focussing on physical activity.
